Scott’s doing well
July 13th, 2007 by LeahJust saw him at mile 42. No complaints (we’re not asking). Looks great. Super psyched. Usual hooting. Doesn’t seem to be favoring the ankle.
Top three look great too. Didn’t see anyone else. Pretty exciting race they’re giving us being an hour ahead of course record!

Way to go Scott! You must be really pissed off about not winning the Ultramarathoner of the Year award in 2006. How else can you explain dropping out of Badwater, putting your life on hold, and moving to Colorado for a whole month to train! That sounds like you really had something to prove. Doesn’t matter. We all know that you are just as good of a runner as Karl… but Meltzer is a nice guy too.

Scott,
What an amazing performance. You’re an artist!
May I just say, we were gathered around the computer with jaws hanging open in disbelief at each aid-station posting.
Congratulations Scott and Leah!
