He walked into an interview with Jorge Pacheco (4th place) and Adalberto Flaco Mendoza (11th place) up at the Whitney Portal the day after the race. Most of the dialogue caught on tape reveals a noble champion attitude including praising all runners in the event and saying that the chance to meet and make friends was what draws him to the sport.
