<description>Scott, I was a budding ultrarunner around 2000 and stopped due to a work related back injury. I went from a basic veggie eating long runner doing local races like the Mt. Baldy 50k (hard) and the OTHTC 50 in Ridgecrest. I had my sights set on the Wasatch Front 100 one day.

When this came to a crash, I everntually went back to couch potato status, but always felt like a runne mentally, it never left me. After reading some of this, it has reignited a passion to try again. My biggest hurdle has been fear that my body can no longer keep up.

I will have to give this a slow steady try again.

Glad I found this blogsite.
